Foreign cancels on Icelandic stamps

Icelandic stamps often received their cancellation when the letter arrived at a port in another country. Here can be seen cancels from Aalborg (Denmark), Hull, Yorkshire (UK), Bergen (Norway) and Tórshavn (Faroe Is).

If only these had been left on cover.
