The 2sk blue is pen cancelled, probably at a local post collection station and then received a proper postmark at STÝKKISHOLMUR. This stamp paid the postage on local (within a county - Icelandic = sýsla) letters. |

The 3sk grey is unused, very few were postally used. Used to make up odd postal rates i.e. 55sk to the Danish West Indies, very rare postally used. Produced in two die types, one with the large 3 upright, the other with the 3 leaning forwards. |
